I’m an architect and researcher who likes people, ideas and good conversations. I have strong opinions, but I’m happy to change my mind when someone makes a better point. I get excited by new things, like trying what I don’t fully understand yet, and learning by doing. I’m also firmly a cat person. Currently in NYC (until January), usually in Copenhagen.

Can AI help cities regenerate, or does it pull the other way? The course reads both fields critically. It looks at what regenerative urban design promises and where it falls short in built work, and at AI first as a concept, then as models, and only then as tools. It grows out of my PhD research at the Royal Danish Academy and Henning Larsen.

  • Guests from practice

    Architects and designers from practice join the class and test the ideas against the projects they work on.

  • AI as a critical tool

    We use AI to study AI. Students run the tools on real tasks, with accounts sponsored by Krea, and treat what comes out as something to question, not an answer.

  • Learning together

    An experiment in collaborative teaching: students present the readings, their answers become the next session's material, and every group works on the same Copenhagen site through a different lens, so they can critique each other's results.
